Dr. Nataša Jović Jovičić and Dr. Zorica Mojović, researchers from the Center for Catalysis and Chemical Engineering at the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy (ICTM), University of Belgrade, participated in the Third General Meeting and Conference of COST Action EU-PoTaRCh (CA22155).

The Third General Meeting and Conference of the COST Action EU-PoTaRCh, coordinated by the Poznań University of Life Sciences (PULS), took place on February 17–19, 2026, at Transylvania University in Brașov, Romania. The event brought together 70 members of the Action from 22 European countries, who spent three days discussing cultural heritage, particularly in the context of the production of wood tar, charcoal, resin, and potash.

Participation in the EU-PoTaRCh network strengthens the position of ICTM in interdisciplinary European research initiatives, enhances international collaboration in materials chemistry, chemistry of forest-based products, and sustainable valorization of biomass resources, and supports further integration of our research into interdisciplinary frameworks related to the bioeconomy and circular economy.
