At the recent Assembly of the Serbian Scientific Society (NDS), held on December 11, 2025, at the Ilija Kolarac Endowment, a new Presidency of the Society was elected, and charters were awarded to new members elected in 2025. Among the newly elected members of the Department of Natural and Mathematical Sciences is Dr. Predrag Banković, Principal Research Fellow at ICTM, Assistant Director for International Cooperation, and Head of the Department of Catalysis and Chemical Engineering.

The Presidency is led by Prof. Dr Vladimir Stevanović (University of Belgrade – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) as President, with vice-presidents representing all scientific departments. It should also be noted that Dr. Željko Ćupić, Principal Research Fellow at ICTM, was confirmed in November 2025 as Secretary of the Department of Natural and Mathematical Sciences.

These elections highlight the strong presence of ICTM researchers within Serbia’s leading academic community. ICTM warmly congratulates Dr Banković, Dr Ćupić, and all newly elected members of the Serbian Scientific Society.
